David said "I am so happy and so proud to have been elected to represent the people of Haddenham and Stone. We worked hard to win this campaign and the result shows the need for hard-working, local councillors, able to hold the council to account on all matters from housing developments to waste and recycling."

This by-election was called after the death of the former Conservative Councillor in November 2018. David is the first Green Councillor to be elected on to Aylesbury Vale District Council where the Conservative Party hold a large majority.
