Following the closure of the Long Crendon surgery and Unity Health’s proposal to transfer their medical services to Brill, an action group was set up in early September to oppose this move and explore the possibility of a new site.

Unity Health says the closure would be in the interests of patient and staff welfare because the current building is unable to be made safe during the COVID epidemic or afterwards. The company are asking patients to feedback on this proposal via their website where you can find an online survey.  You can also post your comments through the surgery letterbox.

Councillor David Lyons says “I support Long Crendon residents who believe their growing village needs to keep its own GP surgery, and I have raised the matter with the Clinical Commissioning Group and Bucks Council cabinet member for Communities and Public Health”.
